On Tuesday I got to meet my June 2, 2012 wedding couple—Kelsie and Sam— for the first time. I love doing engagement shoots and I love shooting in new locations, so meeting them in Greenwood was great. I’d driven near there before, but I’d never walked around the little downtown with all of the old brick buildings. We started there and then moved over to the farm where these two young lovebirds will be married in just a few short months. I love the combo of urban and nature. Do to the fact that I now have seven orphaned four and a half week old puppies in my life I can’t seem to get through these images fast enough to show them all in one post, so I’m breaking it in two two posts just to get some fresh new work up here. It’s been a while. Sorry about that. I’m starting with the second half of the shoot. I guess I’m sort of backwards! Kelsie bid on this dress when she was five years old at a mother-daughter auction. She was separated from her mom and thought the auction was a game so she bid on tons of dresses. She said that she and her mom get so much use out of them still. I loved that story! Anyway, congrats to these two cuties. I can’t wait for the wedding.
